AAAA Records in Hosting
If you want to set up a new AAAA record for any domain or subdomain hosted inside your hosting account, it won't take you more than several simple steps to do that. Our in-house built Hepsia CP is rather intuitive to use and it will allow you to create or change every single record with ease. Once you sign in and visit the DNS Records section, in which you'll discover all existing records for your domain names and subdomains, you'll simply have to click on the "New" button, choose AAAA from a small drop-down options menu inside the pop-up which will appear, input or paste the necessary IPv6 address and save the modification - it is as basic as that. The new record shall be fully active within no more than an hour and the hostname you have created it for shall start opening whatever content you have with the other company. If needed, you are also going to be able to modify the TTL (Time To Live) value, which reveals the time in seconds that the new record will be functioning after you eventually modify it to something different or you simply erase it.
AAAA Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
When you've got a semi-dedicated server account from our company and you need to set up an AAAA record for a domain name you have hosted in it or a subdomain you've set up, it'll take you just a few mouse clicks in the Hepsia Control Panel to accomplish this. Even when you have never had a hosting account before, you will not experience any problems since you will use a very simple and easy-to-use interface. All DNS records for your domain names are going to be listed in a section of the Control Panel with the same name, so as soon as you go there, you will notice all records which have been set up automatically or manually and you're going to be able to create a new one by simply clicking the corresponding button. A little pop-up will appear, so with only a few clicks you can pick the type of record you need and for which domain or subdomain it's going to be set up. Afterwards, just paste the IPv6 address in a text box, save the change and one hour later the new AAAA record will be completely live. As an optional setting, you may choose how long this record is going to be operating after you edit it or erase it in the future. That's the so-called TTL, or Time To Live value of the record, which you can change from the standard 3600 seconds when the other provider requires it.
