A: The website migration service provided by One Simple Hosting is entirely free of cost and involves transferring all your files, databases and emails from your current web hosting provider to your new web hosting account with us. We will also modify all the configuration settings necessary for your websites to be completely operational on our super–modern cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are fully capable of transferring any sort of web site. With years of experience in the industry, they are well–versed in the specificities of our cloud hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other commonly used Control Panels. For them, moving a custom–made web application with numerous custom libraries is as easy as moving a plain WordPress–based weblog.

A: While we can’t give you a precise time window, because there are lots of variables, including the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our very best to migrate your site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (in case the content is not very large).

A: Yep. We will need the name of the site that you’d like us to transfer. We will also need a way to log into your current web hosting account so that we can get the files pertaining to your web site.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share exactly the same information you have provided to your old web host. We’ve also got a very strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how private data is tackled.

A: No. Your site will stay visible online during the transfer. As soon as everything is done on our end, we will notify you so that you can examine it and check for any problems. If everything is fine, all you will have to do is change your domain’s DNS resource records.

A: While we transfer your website content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the transfer at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: Yup. We support all standard Linux–driven hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–driven hosting platforms, as we don’t provide Windows web hosting services ourselves.Additionally, we don’t support proprietary web site creation and management interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
